We ran some highly enjoyable and productive monthly workshops via Zoom in 2020, and so far in 2021 we have combined online sessions with some face-to-face gatherings at our usual venue, Kensington Town Hall. We look forward to returning to this stately building for more 2021 events when the time is right – stay tuned for updates! Located on leafy Bellair Street, Kensington Town Hall offers state-of-the-art amenities, excellent public transport and disability access, and free parking. In a regular year, it’s also MWT’s rehearsal venue.

On arrival, please make your way to whichever room has been designated for the specific monthly event. (Most of these are held upstairs in the Conference Room, but we also use the Supper Room on occasions.)

CAR
Kensington Town Hall is 15 mins’ drive (5 kms) from the CBD. Bellair St runs between Macauley Rd and Racecourse Rd and can be accessed via either road. There is ample free parking in and around the venue, including disability parking directly in front.

Kensington Town Hall is a 3-minute walk from Newmarket Station, or a 10-minute walk from Kensington Station. Both stations are on the Craigieburn line.
TRAM
The West Maribyrnong tram (No. 57) stops in front of Newmarket Plaza – from there, it’s a short walk to Kensington Town Hall.
