Thank you to the writers who provided the scripts we enjoyed at this special EAT MY WORDS event, dedicated to the monologue, held on 6th June. Some of the works presented had their origin in “Let’s Start a Play”, our February workshop which aimed to trigger ideas and script beginnings, and with some excellent feedback solicited from an engaged audience, all of these scripts now have the reinforcement they need to move up to the next stage of their development. Our thanks to Sophie Lord, Bruce Shearer and Mazz Ryan for allowing us to be a part of their creative process, at this evening described by one audience member as ‘a Monologue Feast’.
