MWT member Megan J. Riedl (pictured) is one of 12 writers selected for participation in this year’s IN ONE ACT playwriting development program, which will commence on 13th June. Now in its fourth year, this five-stage program is presented by Melbourne Writers’ Theatre in partnership with Yarra Libraries. A Ballarat-based creative with a practice in performance poetry, playwriting and directing for the stage, Megan is looking forward to embarking on the IN ONE ACT program, and notes: ”I’m excited by the challenge of writing new work with immediate feedback from experts and peers, and within a limited time frame. I hope to make long-lasting connections with other emerging playwrights.”

The 2020 program facilitator is Melbourne-based playwright and teacher Christine Croyden.
