In 2021 Melbourne Writers’ Theatre welcomed Manchester playwright Naomi Sumner Chan as our first international Writer-in-Residence.. In 2022 we were thrilled to host Mykhailo Krupnik from Ukraine. And this November, we will be joined by another inspiring playwright for a month-long program that will feature a workshop, a panel Q&A and a live reading of our resident writer’s latest script. We won’t know until the first week of October who our new writer will be or which country they will hail from, but we promise to keep you posted!
